Connixt was at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023 in Las Vegas, one of the largest trade shows in the construction industry. As always, our team loved the opportunity to interact with industry veterans, showcasing our cloud-mobile app suite, iMarq™, while learning about the challenges, trends and technologies in the industry.
One challenge we heard repeatedly at the show was the difficulty in tracking work and parts on the field. The traditional paper-heavy methods involve manual record-keeping and data entry which are time-consuming, subject to errors and inaccuracies, and not real-time. There is a great awareness of the benefits of using technology to address these challenges – and to maximize equipment uptime, safety and compliance, while reducing expenses.
We also saw the increasing emphasis on sustainable construction practices. By adopting eco-friendly and energy-efficient solutions, the construction industry can help to minimize its carbon footprint and contribute to a greener future. Going paperless is one of the key components of these initiatives, which in turn makes the process greener while increasing efficiencies. Cloud mobile solutions like iMarq can enable businesses to digitize their maintenance processes and transition to paperless operations.
And, of course, what we truly enjoyed was the opportunity to provide booth visitors with a hands-on view of what iMarq can do for them. Our visitors spanned the gamut of the industry – and included drilling contractors, heavy equipment suppliers, leasing companies, speciality contractors and construction management companies.

We also had a surprise visitor drop by our booth at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023! Despite being surrounded by heavy equipment and bustling crowds, our new friend fearlessly strutted around and even posed for some selfies with our team. He definitely stole the show!
