Connixt was at Public Transit’s premier event – APTA Expo at Orlando, FL, Nov 8-10, to showcase Integrated Maintenance– the confluence of people, assets, parts, telematics/sensors and CMMS/EAM in maintenance. And it was a busy 3 days at the show.
The highlight was a Los Angeles Metro-Connixt presentation * at the SOLUTIONS Learning Zone titled:
Digital Transformation in Preventive Maintenance – Mobile apps for maintenance crew addresses skills shortage, increases efficiencies and enhances compliance.
The session covered how complex maintenance operations like those at LA Metro have found success with their pioneering use of Connixt’s award-winning mobile apps for maintenance, inspections, SGR & mandatory reporting. This implementation across rolling stock and facilities has been helpful in gaining efficiency while meeting compliance needs, while also addressing the skills shortage in the industry. And there have been measurable gains in the range of 20% operational efficiencies.
