At Connixt, the last decade has been spent building iMarq to make maintenance smarter, simpler and faster. This has revolutionized how organizations manage their asset maintenance and has truly made life easier for the crew. With a proven return on investment, minimal IT impact to deploy and run, a high adoption rate and most importantly, a positive uptick towards helping organizations meet their sustainability objectives, adopting iMarq is a no-brainer for companies with assets and facilities.
Today, we’re excited to announce the next step in our journey towards Smart Maintenance.
We made recent additions to the product, including the introduction of a warehouse and parts management systems, integration with leading EAM, CMMS, telematics & ERP systems and our AI Maintenance Assistant add-on – iBot. iMarq is thus extending its scope beyond mobile apps for crew towards core maintenance management in the EAM / CMMS realm.
iMarq adds value to maintenance functions in three key areas:

Productivity
Productivity has been at the center of iMarq and features such as digitized work orders, workflows & approvals, automation, audio, image and video capture, LiDAR & barcode scanning amongst many others are loved by crews across industries. Connixt continues to innovate to leverage the best of capabilities of the cloud, software and the hardware devices on which iMarq runs. This results in an app that is intuitive to use with adoption rates over 90% all while maintaining the data quality and integrity that organizations expect.
Intelligence
With the recent introduction of iBot, the AI-powered Maintenance Assistant, iMarq now can translate text from your organization’s language to the language that your crew speaks. iBot also can tap into your knowledge base, manuals and SOP’s to surface the right bit of information needed right on the device that your crew uses every day. For information that may not be within your organization, iBot can even integrate with external AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, etc. to surface answers to the questions that your team members have. Capabilities around pattern recognition to help managers and leaders to predict and forecast maintenance needs based on your assets and performance will be introduced soon
We recognize that maintenance is tricky and is dependent on a lot of variable conditions including people, process and external circumstances. This creates a risk of institutional IP being lost while different people run the same activity – an issue exacerbated by the technician shortage that the industry has been grappling with. By digitizing this knowledge and making it part of daily process, iMarq mitigates this issue and future-proofs it against any risks – internal or external. iMarq allows your crew to enrich data capture through photos with annotations, speech-to-text (auto-translated from any language to any language) comments, and more. AI-powered diagnostics can then tap into this information to assist your crew anywhere in the world, in addition to feeding into your training and orientation programs for new employees and assignees.
iMarq has embodied the concept of Actionable Intelligence from the very outset – users have always had access to customizable reports and dashboards. These have been further strengthened with a powerful new set of real-time KPI reporting.
Safety
Safety is paramount when it comes to maintenance. There’s no two ways about it and iMarq has been built with the same degree of commitment to ensure that your crew and assets are operating in the safest possible environment.
iMarq already enables customers to keep their assets and crew safe. Features like asset tracking, automated maintenance triggers based on time / usage / other parameters, attaching maintenance records to assets, maintenance history reporting, mandatory reports & audit packages including federal, DoT and other mandatory reports all ensure that your assets are operating at their best.

Productivity
Push Notifications – You can now send push notifications out to your crew, whether remote or at a facility, so that they get the most important information right on the device they use every day. Whether it is a recall, notice, safety announcement or anything in between, you can be sure that they will see it as soon as they login.
Integrations – iMarq has now added integration with Trimble TruckMate, SAP and Hexagon EAM, in addition to those already in place with other enterprise systems. Bring your data from these systems into iMarq and trigger workflows. Push data from iMarq back into the EAM and ERP systems so other departments have full visibility and can keep work moving forward.
Intelligence
With the volume of data coming out of maintenance teams and assets, it can be hard to stay on top of performance and arrest issues before they arise. Realtime reports and dashboards are thus a manager’s key weapon to be able to handle teams and work across the organization, including at third party service providers and OEMs.
This release of iMarq introduces the first set of impact metrics and KPI’s that will give you a better pulse of the health of your maintenance program.
Some of the metrics being introduced include
- Realtime KPIs against standardized metrics (e.g. Standard Repair Times (SRTs), Average response times, Wrench Time)
- Rate of material consumption
- Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), First Time Fix Rate (FTFR)
Having easy access to this information adds a layer of context enabling better planning and forecasting, improved efficiency and continuous improvement to your maintenance process. Early customers of iMarq who have been using these new metrics have very quickly elevated it to a must-have feature.
iMarq will now allow the addition of Standard Times at the task level or at the header or a combination thereof.

SRT’s
- For every task / line item, field for “Standard Time” (can be repair, replacement, inspection time etc.)
- For every report, allow entry of Standard Time (e.g. Standard Time for completion of PM -A)
- When PDF report is created: display Standard Time along with Actual Time
Analytics
- Average Time vs ST for similar types of forms / reports
E.g. PM-A: 23 inspections completed Avg time for completion vs ST
On PDF Reports

iMarq will also provide further context in aspects such as First Time Fix, Mean Time Between Failures with the intent of not only reviewing efficiency from the perspective of time spent, but also from the point of view of outcomes.
The goal is to ensure that the crew, supervisors and executives can benchmark work done against internal or industry standards (e.g. those published by industry organizations or by OEMs). Benchmarking can now be done across any activity or an aggregate of activities – for instance, these can range from specific types of maintenance (e.g. 20K Preventive Maintenance) to individual tasks (changing brake pads). This data can then be sliced and diced to provide further insight; for example, across locations, within workshops and more.
iMarq will now allow the addition of Standard Times at the task level or at the header or a combination
iBot, our AI assistant, now works to respond to diagnostic questions that mine internal or external sources for quick responses – no matter the origin language.
Other Updates
Other updates include bug fixes and improvements to iMarq.
This is among the many updates we have lined up for the rest of the year and into 2025. Most notably are the new AI capabilities coming to iBot, enhancements to WMX, new KPIs and impact metrics on reports and dashboards. We are very excited to get iMarq Essential into the hands of small businesses, many of whom have expressed the desire to have a tool like iMarq in their arsenal to manage their asset maintenance.
As we develop iMarq and push Connixt further into being an EAM, solution we remain committed to continue making life easy for the crew. We hope you are as excited about this release as we are. We cannot wait to see how this makes your maintenance smarter, simpler and faster.
