For fleet managers and shop supervisors, the gap between the work being done on the shop floor and the data recorded in the back office has always been a source of friction. Technicians are stuck walking back and forth to a central kiosk. Paper inspection forms pile up, waiting for data entry. And the powerful fleet management software you invested in, like RTA, ends up holding information that is perpetually out of date.
With the iMarq Spring 2026 release, we are excited to launch our first-class integration with RTA. This is more than just a connector. It is a fundamental shift in how mobile technicians interact with your core fleet management system. By placing the power of RTA directly into the hands of your team via iMarq, we are eliminating paper, automating data flow, and turning your fleet data into a real-time asset.
A Seamless, Bidirectional Bridge
The iMarq-RTA Integration v1.0 is built on a bidirectional sync, meaning actions taken in the field update RTA instantly, and data from RTA is immediately available to the technician. This creates a single source of truth that is always current.
When a technician identifies a problem, they can create a service request directly within the iMarq mobile app. That request syncs seamlessly to RTA, initiating the workflow without any paperwork or phone calls. Conversely, when a work order is assigned, the technician sees it instantly on their mobile device, complete with all the necessary asset details and history.
Empowering Technicians with Rich, Accurate Data
We focused on giving technicians the tools they need to do the job right the first time. Asset management is simplified through integrated barcode scanning. A quick scan of a vehicle’s VIN or asset tag pulls the complete master record from RTA, ensuring the right truck is attached to the right work order.
To truly document a repair, a picture is worth a thousand words. Now, technicians can upload up to eight images per service request. Even better, they can use our in-app annotation tools to circle a cracked frame rail or highlight a worn brake pad directly on the photo. This visual context eliminates ambiguity and provides invaluable detail for warranty claims or future training.
For efficiency on the move, we have included hands-free speech-to-text for adding quick comments, and geo-tagging to verify the technician’s location at the time of inspection or repair. This ensures not just what was done, but where it was done, adding a critical layer of verification for compliance.
Automated Reporting and a Complete Audit Trail
Perhaps the most significant productivity gain comes from our automated reporting. Once a job is complete and the technician captures a signature, iMarq automatically generates a high-fidelity PDF. This document includes all the job data, the annotated photos, and the signature, and it is instantly attached to the corresponding record in RTA.
There is no manual file naming, no emailing PDFs to the office, and no hope that the right document ends up in the right folder. It happens automatically, creating a perfect digital thread from inspection to invoice. By connecting your frontline technicians directly to your RTA system, iMarq transforms fleet maintenance into a streamlined, data-rich operation. It gives you real-time visibility, improves data accuracy, and most importantly, gets your technicians back to work faster.
