Close the Communication Gap: Instant Broadcasts for Field Service Teams

In the maintenance operations, every minute counts, but so does every message. For teams spread across job sites, ensuring that critical information from the office reaches the field instantly and clearly is a challenge. Standard communication channels like email or group texts often fail. Important alerts get buried, overlooked, or lost in the noise of overflowing inboxes.

With the iMarq Spring 2026 release, we are enhancing Broadcast Messages. This feature is designed to bridge the gap between administrative oversight and field execution, ensuring that vital information is not just sent, but seen and acknowledged before the workday begins.

Direct Delivery, Right When It Matters

Broadcast Messages transform how administrators communicate with mobile users. Instead of hoping a critical safety alert or a sudden weather update is seen in a cluttered feed, you can now guarantee delivery. The moment a user logs into their iMarq mobile app, any active broadcast appears as a mandatory pop-up. There is no way to bypass it and no risk of missing the update. This ensures that safety protocols, operational changes, or urgent notices are the first thing a technician sees before they head to their first job.

Targeted and Contextual Communication

We understand that not every message is meant for every user. A weather warning might only affect crews in a northern region, while a material shortage might only impact a specific team. The Broadcast Messages feature allows administrators to tailor delivery with precision. Through the iMarq Web portal, you can draft custom messages and target them to all users or specific subgroups. This keeps communication relevant and reduces alert fatigue, ensuring that field teams only receive information that directly impacts their work.

Enhanced Engagement with In-App Web View

Often, a broadcast message needs to do more than just inform. It might require action, such as reviewing a new safety protocol document or filling out a form. With the new in-app web view, attached URLs open directly within the iMarq application. This keeps the user inside the workflow. More importantly, it provides a seamless navigation path back to the active work queue, eliminating the friction of switching between apps and losing context.

Accountability Through Read Receipts

In regulated industries or high-stakes environments, proving that a message was received is just as important as sending it. Broadcast Messages include automatic read receipts. The system logs a timestamp the moment a user acknowledges the pop-up. This creates a transparent audit trail, giving administrators confidence that critical communications have been seen and verified.

With Broadcast Messages, iMarq turns one-way communication into a reliable, accountable channel. It ensures that when the office needs to reach the field, the message is not just delivered, it is acted upon.
